  KidsClick
            A directory of sites by Librarians for kids and their parents.

New York Public Library's 'On-Lion"
            Contains a directory of web resources, booklists on a variety of topics, and resources on New York City with page links to NY museums, sports and historical attractions.

Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN)
         A wonderful site with fun and educational online resources for "Webtot"s and "Webkids" with activities both on and offline.

700+ Great Sites:  
         An American Library Association site that has loads of links for children and parents, educators, homeschoolers and caregivers. Some of the links included are the Negro Baseball Leagues, the Electronic Zoo, the Titanic and a Club Girl Tech Game Cafe.

 Yahooligans!
            A searchable index of selected sites for kids, 8 - 14 years old.

            A wonderful site with reviews of books for pre-school to young adults. Has annotated lists of all the  Newbury and Caldecott books.

            A treasure house of information about books for children and young adults.

Dav Pilkey's Website
         This site of the illustrator of the 'Dumb Bunny' and author of other books, is both fun for kids and informative for parents and teachers. Lots of original art work which can be printed for educational purposes, great when combined with the reading of Mr. Pilkey's books.

         Kids will love the animal pictures and information at this colorful site.

Endangered Species
         A list of endangered animals and plants by regions, and states. This list is based on information from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Includes many links to related sites.

The Non-Stick Looney Page
            A fun place for cartoon lovers, with sounds, great graphics, and many links.

Site for Pet Loving Kids     ASPCA's website will charm and educate children who are fascinated with animals, birds or reptiles. Contests, games and a page to submit questions and receive answers.

How Stuff Works
            Explains how many things around us work, such as, engines, computers, ATM machines, things around the house and much more. This site also includes some science experiments you can do.

Science Learning Center
         Meet the Atoms Family, Virtually Dissect a Cow's Eye, and play at the science of hockey. This site developed by science museums in partnership with schools around the country will spark everyone's interest in science.
